The Courtyard at Oshkosh welcomes Sarah Hammond of Winneconne, WI, as the administrator of Oshkosh’s newest assisted living and memory care community.
Hammond brings nearly 20 years of hands-on, leadership experience caring for and developing specialized programming for seniors and people with dementia. Most recently, she served as the area director of five supportive care centers in Winnebago County, and prior to that Hammond launched two adult day care programs for Lutheran Social Services and assisted in the start-up of a continuum of care campus for seniors in the Fox Valley. She earned a bachelor’s degree in management and communications with a minor in human resources from Concordia University in Mequon, WI.
“I am thrilled to be a vital part of The Courtyard’s transformation from simply a beautiful, new building to a warm, welcoming and bustling home for older adults,” Hammond said. “I look forward to positively impacting the lives of The Courtyard’s residents, family members and staff.”
Managed by Encore Management and Development (Encore), The Courtyard at Oshkosh will offer assisted living, memory care and respite care in brand new, primarily private residences. Residents can enjoy a robust social and wellness calendar of events and activities while getting a helping hand as needed from an experienced care team. Services include three meals a day, housekeeping, maintenance and transportation. Amenities include a well-appointed dining room, fireplace, garden patio and beauty salon.
“Sarah’s exemplary record of achievement, wealth of experience and passion for senior care make her the right person to successfully launch the newest assisted living and memory care community in Oshkosh,” said Heather Hintz, Encore’s Regional Director of Operations.
